Transportation Management with native BR fiscal

NexLog OS TMS orchestrates routing, freight spot auction, freight audit, route compliance, modal shift, carrier risk score and digital POD via NexLog Driver App. CT-e, MDF-e, Incoterms and optional comex integrated into the same MDM as WMS and OMS.

The canonical model of TMS

Transport, freight, fiscal documents and financial reconciliation in a unified model with WMS, OMS and Control Tower.

Carrier

carriers

Registry of own and third-party carriers, with documents, driver licenses, qualifications and continuous risk score.

Shipment

shipments

Unit of transport. Groups orders, multimodal legs, fiscal documents (CT-e/MDF-e), tracking and events.

Transit Incident

transitIncidents

Occurrences: delay, damage, loss, route deviation. Feeds Control Tower exception engine.

Freight Invoice

freightInvoices

Carrier billing document; reconciled by freight audit against contracted tariff and allocations.

Cost Allocation

costAllocations

Distribution of freight by order, SKU, customer, cost center, channel or project.

Claim

claims

Compensation process for damage, loss or delay — linked to transitIncidents and shipments.

Billing Entry

billingEntries

Logistic billing to customer (B2B) — integrated with settlement and finance.

Operational flows

Planning, execution and audit

Routing

Multi-modal with delivery windows, capacity, tolls and urban restrictions.

Freight spot auction

Reverse electronic auction for point contracts with homologated carriers.

Freight audit

Automated audit of freightInvoices against tariff, surcharges and actual cubic weight.

Route compliance

Compliance with contracted routes, urban limits and toll rules.

Modal shift

Suggestion to switch modal (road → cabotage / rail) by cost and CO2e.

Carrier risk score

Continuous score based on historical OTD, claims, damage and document compliance.

Digital POD

Proof of delivery via NexLog Driver App: photo, signature, geolocation, receipt OCR.

Real-time tracking

Integration with telematics, GPS, ELD and partner carrier APIs.

What the TMS delivers

OTD (On Time Delivery)

% of deliveries accomplished on the agreed timeframe. Enterprise goal: ≥ 97%.

Cost to serve

Total freight cost per order, SKU, channel and customer — with audited allocation in costAllocations.

Freight audit accuracy

% of invoices (freightInvoices) audited without divergence. Target ≥ 99%.

TMS within a supply chain operating system

End of silos between transport, order and finance

A traditional TMS is operated by a logistics team that speaks with ERP via files and with finance via spreadsheet. In NexLog OS, Carrier (`carriers`), Shipment (`shipments`), Claim (`claims`), Freight Invoice (`freightInvoices`), Allocation (`costAllocations`) and Billing (`billingEntries`) live in the same canonical model as OMS and WMS. This eliminates manual reconciliation between order, dispatch, CT-e, waybill and invoice.

Freight audit and carrier risk score

The freight audit engine checks each freight invoice against contracted tariff, surcharges, actual cubic weight and routes effectively traveled. Divergences generate exception in Control Tower, block payment in settlement and feed carrier risk score — a continuous score per carrier that combines OTD, damage, claims and document compliance. This score loops back to influence routing and spot auction.

Multi-modal, BR fiscal and optional comex

CT-e and MDF-e are issued natively for national road modalities. For export, Customs module plugs into the same shipment and brings NCM/HS, BL/AWB and international declarations (ONE Record, Cargo-XML, WCO Data Model). Incoterms are attached to OMS in original order and propagate responsibilities to TMS and Customs — without duplication.
