This creates data duplication, rework and exposure to fines. In NexLog OS, Trade Declaration (`tradeDeclarations`) and Trade Document (`tradeDocuments`) share MDM with Shipment (`shipments`) and Order (`orders`): Incoterms come from the order, weight and volume from the shipment, NCM/HS from the product master.
The Tariff Intelligence module uses AI to suggest NCM/HS classification based on textual description, BOM, history of approved classifications and jurisprudence. Each suggestion brings auditable explanation. Denied Party Check runs automatically on any tradeDeclaration, blocking shipments to sanctioned parties.
